Re: FtpVC 2.6 frequent builds
Sorry for my skepticism but I take this to mean that the release is not stable yet. Can you please provide instructions as how I can downgrade to the 2.5 version? Should I delete all the stubs 2.6 created and 2.5 will automatically regenerate stubs? Will I lose any history?

Re: Switching to folder slow with lots of activity
I think I found a repro scenario that allows you to reproduce the problem I am seeing with the new 2.6 release (build Sep 2): If you attempt to label a folder recursively then the labeling process will create files ending with .stub! Please confirm this is a bug. I will send you more details private...

Re: Adding .htaccess files to FtpVC
Did you test this with a Microsoft FTP Service? If not, I can give you access so you can reproduce the problem.

Re: Switching to folder slow with lots of activity
But why is rename failing? I see a lot of files ending with .stub in my ftpvc folder and I never used any version older than 2.4. How do I fix this problem? Should I manually delete the files ending in stub? Why doesn't FtpvC 2.6 automatically delete these obsolete stubs?

Re: Adding .htaccess files to FtpVC
It still does not work, I deleted all the stub files (ftpvc/.htaccess.stub.*) and tried adding the .htaccess file again. It created the following stub file but it still shows with Local-only status in FtpVC! .htaccess.stub.866006655.1.Amin.U05-27-2009#206#124#149 I have attached the file so you can ...

Re: How to exclude folders from Find Checkouts/Find By Statu
No. You can, however, use a non-recursive Find Checkouts. This will allow you to see checkouts only in one folder. Another approach is to use a recursive Find for lower lever folders. Doesn't non-recursive Find Checkouts/Find By Status operate on a single folder only? If so then it won't be of help...

Re: Adding .htaccess files to FtpVC
Here is the log as captured in output windows. Still does not work in FtpVC 2.6. File gets added but is corrupted during transfer and shows with Local Only status in FtpVC: 9/5/2010 8:04:15 PM Action: Executing ADD command 9/5/2010 8:04:22 PM Action: Getting current directory 9/5/2010 8:04:22 PM Res...

FtpVC 2.6 frequent builds
Hi, I just noticed that there is a Sep 2 build of FtpVC 2.6 available. During the past a few weeks I noticed that various builds have been posted on the download page. Do we have to upgrade whenever you post a new build? What is being fixed in each build? There is no manifest. Would appreciate a bit...

Switching to folder slow with lots of activity
I have a project where all files and folders are under FtpVC 2.6 on Windows XP. When I switch to one of the subfolders, it takes FtpVC around a minute or so to list the 20 files that are in this folder. It generates a lot of activity in the output pane for each of the files. Below is just the output...

How to exclude folders from Find Checkouts/Find By Status
I have several large folders under my project containing external components (tinymce, jsCalendar, etc.) whose files never change but whenever I attempt a Find Checkout or Find By Status on my project, FtpVC scans all these folders which takes forever to complete. Is there a way I can exclude these ...

Adding .htaccess files to FtpVC
I cannot add files starting with a dot (.) to FtpVC. I develop on a Windows box but deploy to a Linux/Apache machine. I need to be able to keep .htaccess and .htpasswd files under source management. Is there a trick I can use to add these files to FtpVC?
Thanks

Check In All Very Slow
I would like to check in all files that I have checked out in various folders in one sweep. When I right click on the root folder and choose Check In and then check the recursive checkbox, it takes forever for ftpvc to accomplish the task. I have over 600 files on my remote ftp location, of which 20...

Export/Import of Project Options for All Projects
Hello,
Is there a way to export/import the project options for all projects in one shot? I am a mobile developer working on clients' machines so I need to be able to set up ftpvc quickly when at a client.
Thanks

Re: Could not delete directory (error 12003)
When I look inside the folder with FileZilla, I see an empty .ftpvc subfolder inside. The subfolder does not show up in FtpVC. How come FtpVC cannot delete this empty subfolder?

Incorrect Out of Date status on binary file
FtpVC reports an Out of Date status for a .mdb binary file despite the fact ExamDiff report it to be identical the the one on the local machine. If I do a get on the file the status changes to Current but if I refresh FtpVC the status reverts to Out of Date.
