Directories --> Report --> Save HTML Diff Report, Include file diffs = Yes
All the different files (and directories) in the main directory that are different are correctly listed and each one is "clickable" (is a hyperlink) that when clicked will show you the differences for that file/directory, but when the link for a subdirectory that is different is clicked, none of the files listed in the resulting list of files that are different for that (sub)directory are "clickable"! (i.e. they are just LISTED but none of them are hyperlinks)
Thus there is no way to view (to "see") the differences for those files that are listed as being different in that (sub)directory!
Attached is the simplest reproducible case I could devise: two directories: "aaa" and "bbb". Within each are three tiny one-line text files, only one of which is different from the other. Also within each directory is a sub-directory, also containing 3 more very tiny files, again, only one of which is different from the other.
After creating the HTML Diff Report, you can open the main .htm file and see the list of different files. (There should only be one file in the list.) You can then click on the file that is listed to view the differences.
So far so good!
BUT... Also listed in the primary report is the subdirectory as well (since it's "different" too!). When you click on that listed subdirectory (which IS correctly clickable), you are then presented with a new .htm display of all of the files that are different in THAT (sub)directory.
Again, so far so good! Right?
WRONG!
NONE of the files listed in this subdirectory report are clickable! You cannot view the differences for any of the files listed as being different in that (sub)directory! Oops!
