the UI could be done the same way as the ruglary synchronizing splitter, just horizontal between the two lines at the lineinspector-screen. but then you also need the posibility to show "empty space" in lineinspector for synchronizing. and instead of lines you just usw the oclumns / number of ...

Maybe it is because of the different number of brackets before the $A_DBB ...

A tool like the "synchronizing splitter" for the LineInspector would be helpfull in this situation.
