Re: Ignore white space in lines does not work from version 15
Thank you for reporting this. We can't reproduce it here on a generic pair of files. Is your "Use ignores" option on under the Tools menu? If yes, could you provide a sample pair of files and your exported options?

Re: Ignore large block of text
Except, it is un-intuitive, never mind that a Base-64 blobs aren't comments. Yes, it's a workaround and a solution to your problem. And why do you care if's it not really comments? Firstly, my ".config" files can come from multiple vendor appliances - all will have different "comment...

Re: Virus detected on install
We decided to remove PESnoop plug-in: it's rarely used, not updated by the author, and causes occasional warnings. This will be done in the next build of 15.0 beta.

Re: Virus detected on install
It's one of the plug-ins ExamDiff Pro uses for comparing executables. You will likely not need it but the PESnoop.exe is certainly not malware. We haven't updated it in the installer since 2010. We'll see if there is an alternative to it.

Re: Missing feedback
At least on XP and on slow peripherals, when deleting a lot of files (I usually do it by clicking on the relevant arrow to "copy nothing" to the other pane) there is no user feedback that the operation is accepted and in progress. EDP seems locked until the progress dialog "Sorting i...

So you are referring to flat mode... Yes, it's a bug in 15.0 Beta. The fix will go to the next build.

Re: No (more) copy of empty directories
I need more information: how did you do it in flat mode? Also, tree mode is more like Windows Explorer with two panes, and I don't know how you'd do that with the Explorer.

Re: Ignore large block of text
I gave you a suggestion earlier: use a regex like this
where word1/2 are unique starting/ending texts of the ignored block.
Code: Select all
word1.*?word2
