Perhaps. Still, once you know that the green bar means "skipped", you should be able to easily spot a difference that you marked as such.
If I have the two files opened, I do not look at the bar at the side.
I look at the source code itself and if there are any markings.

I bought ExamDiff Pro on the 24.09.2004 (version 3.2c).
Now I wanted to install the actual version (3.5) and get the message, that the registration is to old.
I thought that I get all versions of 3.x for free and that I only have to pay the update price if a version with 4.x in front is ...
