Command Line Option excluding files from history
Is there a Command Line Option to exclude files/session from the history? Whenever my Source Controls System (StarTeam) compares versions, it uses temporary file(name)s, which are pretty useless as MRU. If there is no such option, could it be added? PS: there is an incomplete sentence at Help > Gett...

Well, you don't actually need another message, just another option to suppress it when both have it. Maybe it makes more sense, when I tell you that on equal files I now get three messages: - no newline at end of file1 - no newline at end of file2 - identical text-files file1 and file2 ... Exit Clic...

Yes, I guess I could, but that would 'require' me to always 'maximize EDP. What I actually do (now), is an approximation, I just dont enlarge it that much to start with. So I do not start at the far edge of the screen. Because usually I don't like it to cover everything, but still be able to see the...

Usually I have files 'narrow' enough to fit in a EDP-window on one monitor. Incidentally I 'need' a wider window (screen) [or scroll back and forth, like I used to]. the easy thing to do, would be to place EDP in the middle and then resize it as far as I need. When I place EDP in the middle, I have ...

split camparison panes over two monitors
Today I got a second monitor (yahoo!). One of the useful features seems to be the possibility to have an easier EDP-comparison of 'long' lines with word wrap off. So I resize EDP to have one pane on the left monitor and the second on the right. And immediately some feature requests pop up: - w/could...

suppress message if both files missing newline at EOF
A minor annoyance: if both files being compared are missing a newline at the end of the file, could you (optionally) suppress the "No newline at end of file" message?
Cheers, Yahoo.

minor 'bug': MRU-spin can be set too high
FWIW, I was just setting the MRU-values in View | Options | Global and ran into some minor peculiarities: The number of recent [session] files has a maximum of 16: - using the spin-buttons one can go up to 100?! - using the edit-box one can enter anything, even characters? You could consider limitin...

Coordinating between multiple running instances in Windows is always a difficult task. While these may be good ideas, I doubt that they'll get implemented any time soon. I don't think that majority of ExamDiff Pro users is affected by the problems that arise from making changes in multiple running ...

Saving (un)changed settings
I often have multiple instances of ExamDiff open. Now, if I change some settings in one instance of ExamDiff, it does not (necessarily) persist. E.g. - if I change colors in one instance, later after closing all instances, the colors may remain the old way. - if I save a session in one instance, lat...
