Match files with different names during folder comparison

Post by burduk »

Hello!

Suppose I have folder1, in wich I have file1, and many other files.
And I have folder2, in wich I have file2, and many other files.

During folder1 and folder2 comparasion, I want to "set" file1 and file2 "matched" each other, i.e. even that they have different filenames, I want to compare them as if they have same filenames.
And then, if they content are equal, I want to get "folders are equal" result (if other files are equal).
And if them content are different, to show this difference, it is enough to double-click one of them.

So, this is should be some "local" setting for current folders comparasion.

Is such feature exist?

No, there's currently no such feature in ExamDiff Pro.
