Bug on Windows 98 SE ?

Post by Wilfried »

I've tried ExamDiff Pro v3.4.2 on Windows 98 SE.
By checking the messages options the messages about identical/different objects (i.e. text files, binary files and directories) are not displayed and I get two empty panes (i.e. no objects details are showed) with the status message "No differences found" even if the objects are actually different.
This problem doesn't happen on Windows XP or with the previous "dot" version of ExamDiff Pro (i.e. v3.3) on both operating systems.
Many thanks in advance for the response(s).

Yes, it's a known problem with some message boxes not shown in 95/98/Me. The bug will be fixed in the next public build. The preview is available at http://www.prestosoft.com/download/edpro343.exe
