Windows Explorer (Shell) integration - great feature!
But it seems not to work with paths including spaces...
[3.2c] Windows Explorer (Shell) integration
I have analysed a a bit more - it's not the problem with spaces in the path, but with root paths.
I'm trying to compare L:\ with S:\Bau financials\..., and get the error message
file or directory L:" S:\Bau does not exist
I don't know whether this is " or '', though...
W2KSP4, btw.
P.S.: L: is a substed drive, S: ia a network mapped drive, if that matters.

This works fine here. At some point there was a fix in the Shell extension to make it work for root folders. Perhaps you downloaded EDPro before the fix. You may want to try the latest release on the web site. If you still have problems, I'll need additional information. BTW, does it work for your local roots (I assume L:\ is a mapping of a network drive)?

I have just downloaded and installed, the about dialog tells version 3.2c build 09.06.04 03:28:45.
L: is a local SUBST. It does not work with local root folders as well. I right clicked C:\ in the tree pane of the explorer and chose 'Select First Item to Compare'. Then I right clicked on D:\ in the tree pane and chose 'Compare to "C:\"'.
Exam Diff opens with the compare dialog set to 'Files' and the first file name reads 'C:" D:"', the second one is the last one used as second, I suppose.
