Failed to get status for directory monitoring.

Lately, with ExamDiffPro 4.5.1.17 and .18, when comparing directories (well, two full drives in reality), I get the message:
Failed to get status for directory monitoring.
This didn't happen before, but I can not guaranteed that I didn't change anything in my machine configuration in between.
Should I consider this "normal"?

N.B. OS = Win2000 SP4.

Build 4.5.1.21 fixes this problem.
