how to compare two tex files for unique lines?

Post by morgoth123 »

Hi there,

I have a very basic question..how can i use examdiff to compare 2 text files for unique lines which are only available in either one of them?
The order of the lines in both files is not the same. Thanks in advance for answering this!

You can set up a view filter (Options | Display | View Filter) to show only added and deleted lines, then use the View | Use View Filter menu command.
The order of the lines in both files is not the same.
This can be remedied by using the Sort plug-in (Options | Plug-ins).
