Opening a ExamDiff with a hyperlink

I have an Excel spreadsheet which I would like it to contain hyperlinks that would open ExamDiff comparing two files.

Is this possible? A bonus would be that it would open the compare and save off the results.

I'm not sure if Excel can launch external programs but if it can, there's nothing special about launching ExamDiff: you will simply have to pass two file paths and, possibly, options. However, ExamDiff can only display results; it cannot save to a file via command line (ExamDiff Pro can, and it can also generate HTML diff reports).
