Just for your information, not to complain: the 32 bit version of EDP portable is not compatible with XP.

I believe we tested it. What error do you get?

A simple error: the wrong version!
Sorry, forget it all.

Thanks for confirming! BTW, we will most likely stop supporting XP with the next version.

A friend of mine gave me an old computer of the 2000. It's a Pentium II, strictly a 32 bit.
I was thinking of using some lean Linux distro to run a browser and OpenOffice.
Gosh! No 32 bit Linux distribution is still maintained, not to say about a modern browser.
Using XP on it? It's a snail (256 MB of RAM). Windows 2000 only.
Using it as a soft synth? Nope, too much latency!
I think it's on its way to the trash can...

So, as I already said, I'm sad but I can't blame you too much if you drop the XP support.
After all, you drop the support but the current version of EDP works perfectly and will continue to work on XP. :!:

Sincerely, I'm even wondering if there are many people still using a 32 bit OS.
Seven? Eight? (I'm talking about Windows version, not about the number of people! )
