Continuous redraw

In the dir compare mode, if a <ctrl> key is pressed the diff bars are continuously redrawn.

Maybe also when the mouse pinter is on the "different" marking in the diff bars.

I couldn't reproduce this. Could you be a little more specific?

Simply do a directory comparison in which you have some differences, the press a <ctrl> key.
The effect is unmistakingly (I know that effect...) a continuous redraw of all the markers in both the diff bars.

N.B. If you don't use a slow computer, like mine :), you can't see it.
Please, try using a debugger.

I saw the same effect putting the mouse cursor on the on the yellow band (default color, I think) or the arrow of the selected group in a diff bar, but today I can't reproduce it.
Probably there is a detail missing.

I don't see in the code how pressing the Ctrl key can cause such redrawing so we can't really debug this. Is this a new behavior compared to 4.5? Do you see the same effect in text comparison?

Good!
I was sure I wasn't dreaming but I didn't know what else to suggest...

Just in case: I confirm, you got it.
Problem solved.
