Just installed the version 7.0.1.13 32 bit.
Each time I run it I get "Encountered an improper argument" twice, then it seems to work...

Very little to say.
I run the installer of the version 7.0.1.12. Everything seems ok.
At the end of the installation EDP is started and... "Encountered an improper argument" twice, then "empty files", "help->About" and it says: version 7.0.1.13".
(The "Encountered etc. etc." already made me suspect it!

It is unrelated to the "Improper argument" issue, which is what I'm more concerned about (waiting for your settings).

Try completely uninstalling EDP, make sure you got nothing left in the Program Files folder, and try installing build 12 again (make sure it is indeed build 12 during the installation).

After uninstalling (N.B. the uninstaller showed "7.0.1.12") and reinstalling the '12 everything was fine.
Updating to the '13 and "Encountered..."
Reinstalling the '12, the same as I already described.

In general, to install an older version you need to remove the newer one since the installer compared files based on their versions and dates.

As for the "Encountered an improper argument" error, the fix will be posted on the website shortly (build 14). Thanks again for letting us know.
