Just to make ExamDiffPro (V 3.4, Build 02.02.2006 03:22:26) even more perfect:

- Menu "View" / "Options"
- Go to "File Editing"
- Select "Create backups before saving files"
- Choose "FILE.EXT in the following directory"
- Unselect "Create backups before saving files"
- Go to another item, e.g. "Plug-ins"

There is a message "Backup directory cannot be empty!" that should not be shown in this situation.

Thanks for reporting this. The fix in in the latest build of EDP 3.4 (3.4.1.2).
