I'm currently trying out ExamDiff Pro. I had two files that I wanted to compare today, but they were too different for ED to report except as "all different".

However, there were a series of lines in the middle that did match. It would have been nice if I could have lined the known matches up and then said "Ok, _now_ what do you think?"

We call this feature " Ability to add manual synchronization points to text file comparison" on the wish list, and it's likely to be added to the next version.
