Hi,

Would it be possible to change the display of the right hand tree to only show from the main project folder.

I would like the tree to start from the mainsite folder. The main reason for this is that once I have a folder quite a way down the tree structure. Half the screen is taken up by the tree window.

No, there's no such feature. FtpVC will use what the server returns as the user's home directory to build the initial tree. Sometimes FTP servers will provide a shortened home directory name, in which case you'll see a much shorter tree. For example, in Serv-U FTP server there's an option "Lock user in home directory" that does exactly that.
