Re: Directory Comparison and "Ignore lines"

I suspect that there are some issues with Linux mounting that cause directory comparison issues (timeout?) and don't - in file comparison. Maybe there are some errors in the Event Log.

Re: Directory Comparison and "Ignore lines"

It's hard to follow this without steps to reproduce. Could you please provide a zipped file with your directories and exported options, as well as screenshots illustrating the issue?

Re: Please update the following plugins (for next release)

Their release notes don't mention any security fixes; we'll stay with 5.6.0 for now, maybe they'll include a 32-bit build later.

Re: Please add menu/keyboard/toolbar options for zoom level

We'll do the following in the next build:

Zoom in: CTRL++
Zoom out: CTRL+-
Reset to default size:CTRL+0

The respective view menu items will be added in the next version.

Re: Please add menu/keyboard/toolbar options for zoom level

Toolbar buttons are not likely but we can add "CTRL +" and "CTRL -" (there is no "actual size", every change simply changes the appropriate display option).

Re: Comparing clipboard contents

There an option under Misc: Treat Clipboard buffers as initially modified, you can uncheck it. Does this help?

Re: Different behaviour of the same option

It's not about safety of an option change, after all the change can be easily undone. The toolbar command is simply a shortcut, a one-click action, normally expected from toolbars. Think of it not as an option change but as "Recompare with a different option".

Re: Different behaviour of the same option

Yes. When you use the toolbar, it's effectively a command, and it consists of changing the respective option and recomparing.

This often means that you activated more seats that your license allows. Check out https://www.prestosoft.com/ps_activations.asp to see and manage your activations.

Re: Nonexistent XML files. Why?

It's just for convenience, to keep the history of filters, so that you could easily go back to one of the previous ones.

Re: Nonexistent XML files. Why?

Filters are comma-delimited, like

Code: Select all

*.aps,*.bak,*.bsc,*.clw,*.dll
