Combine 'Compare' and 'Ignore Comments' options

Post by anothersam »

I'd like to ignore Case but not Blank lines for vb6 files (e.g. .frm,.bas,.cls), but the reverse for all other files.

It would therefore be helpful if the 'Compare' and 'Ignore Comments' options were combined. The user could then select a default set of options, and then modifications to those options plus extra reg expression (comments) for sets of file extensions.

They can be combined through sessions. You can define different sessions for different file extensions, and then select the appropriate ones when you compare certain types.
