ExamDiff Pro hangs when comparing xml files

I have two sets of xml files need to compare. I am using ExamDiff Pro 3.5. It works fine when comparing two directories, showing the files are different. But when I highlighted one set of different files and right-clicked on "Compare Matched". The application spawned another window and that window shows a white screen and hangs forever.

This seems only happen when I compare xml files from directory comparison window. If I compare two xml files directly, not from directory comparison window, the software behaves fine.

After I killed the hanging ExamDiff, any subsequent launch of ExamDiff will hang as well until I deleted all your registry keys started with "Recent". Reinstall the software also won't solve the problem of hanging.

Any idea or any fix to this problem?

Can you confirm if this is still a problem in 4.0 (the latest build)?
