Error or Warning when comparing Word docs

Whenever I compare Word docs, I always get the following message

Error or warnings were produced while attempting to apply the following plug-ins:
DOC to Text [installed]

When I click on the box, I get the message

I won't mmap that file, using a slower method

It does not say whether this is an Error or a Warning so I am unsure whether the comparison was successful.
The message doesn't sound too bad, so I'm hoping its just a Warning.

Am I right? What does this error mean?

Yes, you are right, it is just a warning coming from the plug-in.
