64-bit version of EDPro?...

Post by agarny »

Hi, I was wondering when we could expect a 64-bit version of EDPro? I have just come across a message from November 2008 (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=537&p=2034&hilit=+64+bit#p2034) saying that it's coming in the near future, but how near is the near future for you?...

Right now, I need to compare two text files (one which is 334 MB big and another which is 206 MB) and despite having 12 GB, I just can't compare them. Frustrating to say the least...

So, when can we expect a 64-bit version of EDPro or is it time for me to look for an alternative?...

That's certainly very good to know, but it still doesn't tell me when I can expect a 64-bit version...

Based on our release experience I'd say the beta will be available around January 2010.

Thanks. I guess I will have to look for another solution in the meantime then.
