Bad crash

Post by MSpagni »

Run examdiff.exe (ExamDiffPro 5.0.1.15) in win2000 and immediately:
---------------------------
ExamDiff Pro: examdiff.exe - Application error
---------------------------
The instruction at "0x0051dd74" made reference to "0x00000070". That memory couldn't be read.

I tried to reinstall on it ExamDiffPro 5.0.1.14 that worked correctly, but with no results. That is: the file examdiff.exe remains unchanged (5.0.1.15) and keeps crashing.
I had to restore the files from a backup.
I didn't try by first uninstalling then reinstall.

In WinXP it seems to work but opening it and then selecting "cancel", the program closes as if the click was on "exit".

Probably I was too fast.
I downloaded Build 5.0.1.16 but... I got build 5.0.1.15 again instead.

The files are correct; perhaps it's your browser's cache that prevents you from downloading the right file.

Maybe.
Anyway today the download gave me the new build.

I'm glad I can say that everything is fine.
Thanks.
