HTML Difference report missing colour

Post by ToyBoyT »

Since upgrading to version 5, when I save as an HTML report, the colour highlights for differences are missing. This makes spotting the differences difficult when viewing the HTML report on screen. Is this an IE7 compatibility issue or is there a setting somewhere that I have missed? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I could not reproduce this in IE7, IE8, IE9, Firefox, Chrome or Opera. Could you post your screenshots here (EDP UI, IE) and attache the HTML report as well?

The extension htm is not allowed.
The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.
...and it doesn't like htm either
and my file is too big...now attaching 3 files. Hope these will show the problem.

This does look odd. Could you now provide your compared files and options (exported to a file via the Options dialog)?

I thought I would try doing an 'Options/Reset to Default' which resulted in losing my plugins (PDF), so I decided to re-install.
That solved it. Colour is back now. Sorry to deprive you of your investigation, but thanks for looking at it.
Brilliant product...especially when it can compare PDFs.... it's saved me so much time.
