I always installed the new versions of EDP, including betas, on top of the previous installation.
Looking at "installing application" now I see three entries:
ExamDiff Pro 5.0 (32-bit) 21.5 MB
ExamDiff Pro 5.0 (32-bit, Build 5.0.0.28) 27.1 MB
ExamDiff Pro 5.5 (32-bit) 20.0 MB
Does exist a simple way to remove the obsolete entries beside uninstalling all and the reinstall the latest?
Of course it's not a big problem as a whole, and not a big problem even to remove all and restart from scratch: it's very good to be able to save and restore the whole configuration at once!
Old installations relics
Re: Old installations relics
I presume you are referring to items in your Windows Ininstall applet. The only way to remove them is to uninstall. Note that 5.5 will not use "Build..." in the entry title there, so each new installation will overwrite the existing entry. Also, when you uninstall EDP you will have a choice of keeping your settings.
