IniSorter plugin failure

Post by Alexo »

The IniSorter plugin returns errors on all but the most trivial ini files that we have:

Code: Select all

Failed to execute plug-in "C:\Program Files\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-Ins\IniSorter\IniSorter.exe" /o "C:\Temp\TCV40638.tmp\sample.1.1.ini" (its return code was 1 instead of expected 0).
The plug-in returned the following error:
Invalid file format
Is the source available for debugging?

Apparently comment lines (starting with semicolon) cause the sorter to barf.

Thanks for reporting this. We'll let the developer of the plug-in know.

Check out the latest build of IniSorter at http://www.prestosoft.com/edp_plugins.asp, it should have the fix (that is: it will ignore comments in INI files).

Great!

Could you also add a "last modified" column to the plugin list?

This page is not normally used as plug-ins are included in regular updates. Besides, most of the application listed there are not developed by us or by our collaborators, so tracking their update dates would be difficult.
