BUG: Visual file and directory has stopped working
I've been using ExamDiff Pro 5.5.1.18 (64 bits) for a long time but recently I have this bug and cannot work with it lately. I'm using Window 7 64bits in Asus corei7 2nd generation. Could you please advise me on how I can fix it? Thanks,

Is this problem reproducible? If so, please provide your files and your options exported to a file via the Options dialog. You can also try reinstalling ExamDiff Pro as a first step.

Re: BUG: Visual file and directory has stopped working
64bits version is the one I have used and trusted in
This happens all the time I open ExamDiff Pro lately.
For the files, they're just two long script texts of about 13000 rows.
For the Option dialog, I don't change anything except display colors.
If I remember correctly I have seen 3 files reported as causing the problem but unfortunately I didn't note down what're they.
First time It happened when I scrolled up & down modified & worked with the texts in left & right columns as ExamDiff Pro is also a text editor.
I also modified the text in notepad++
The program asked me to update the changes and I don't remember what I chose, then the program crashed and has the problem till now.
Till now everytime when I scroll down the text or Save HTML report, it happens.
I unistalled & re-installed several times but the problem is still there.
Another story:
I also give 32bits version a try, I get this error when trying to save HTML report

Re: BUG: Visual file and directory has stopped working
For the crash, I still need to see your options. If a crash dump is generated, that will be very helpful too.
For the second issue, the message is quite clear: the template files that are listed in the HTML options are not there, for whatever reason. You need to change the settings, possibly by repointing from Program Files to Program Files (x86).

For the crash, I tried to email MiniDump many times but failed. Here's the option for your diagnostic.

I hope to fix the crash, because I reinstall 64bits version as 64bits one better fits for my window 7.
For the second issue, I installed it into Program Files not x86 one, so there aren't such HTML templates for pointing to.

Re: BUG: Visual file and directory has stopped working
Your options indicate that your ExamDiff Pro installation is corrupt. Do the complete uninstall of ExamDiff Pro: first, remove it form your Program And Features, then remove the following Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro.
After that install the latest 64-bit from the web site. Then apply your license key. This will also fix your HTML template issue.
