For a moment I considered to adapt the open source sumatrapdf https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free-pdf-reader.html to work as a (pdf), ePub, mobi, DjVu, XPS, CHM, CBZ e CBR converter to text to be used as an EDP plugin. It should be easy.
And if you need to compare also AZW, there's the possibility to use libmobi https://github.com/bfabiszewski/libmobi, at least for the ebooks of the free collections.
Then I solved my problem at hand and decided that, at least at the moment,I don't need it and I'm not in the right mood to do it, so I pass the idea to you.
