Hmm, none of this is happening for me. Perhaps it's dependent on your folders and options (although I did try your previous options you sent at some point).

This seems very reproducible, but only on XP.
It's not applicable to the 64 bitter, for which I haven't yet discovered how to trigger the problem.
As you know, I use much more frequently the 32 bit version.

Well, I tried all of this on an XP VM, and still couldn't reproduce the problem. So I guess we'll leave at alone until we find a way to recreate the issue.

While comparing directories in flat mode look at the color bars.
Assume you're working on a pane, then click on the other pane and scroll a little.
Click then on the previous pane and you'll see the color bars move in the direction of the scroll (probably expanding and compressing, not just moving).
(Latest version, 64 bits)

Yes, this is reproducible. We'll work on a fix for the next build.
