Hi,
I last purchased EDP back in 2009 and, not long after that, I moved to macOS (I develop cross-platform software). I am still using my copy of EDP (5.0.0.17!) in my Windows virtual machine (using Parallels) and it's working fine, but... it's a 32-bit version and for the Intel chip. A 64-bit ARM version of EDP would no doubt make a big difference, but I would still need to fire up my Windows VM. So... any chance of ever having a macOS version of EDP? I have tried so many similar tools on macOS and... yeah, after all those years I am still going back to EDP, albeit within a Windows VM.
Cheers, Alan.
macOS version ever?
Re: macOS version ever?
Hi Alan,
It's hard to see how we could do this at this point, given the number of libraries EDP uses. Hopefully, the ARM64 version will make things faster to run under the VM but this is as far as we can go.

Re: macOS version ever?
Thanks for the quick reply.
I was afraid that this might be the case, but I still had to ask.

Re: macOS version ever?
Just to show that there is interest, I would like to add my voice to the request for a native MacOS and Linux versions.
I've been a long time user and advocate of EDP but I have to settle for competing products if my workplace gives me a non-Windows machine.
