I haven't any new data.
My suspicion was that maybe I updated EDP while Win10 was performing a substantial update in the background, but I can't be certain.
We'll see in the future.

I updated EDP to the latest version.
Once again, XP asked me if I wanted to remove the previous version (16.0.0.7), windows 10 didn't.
If I got it well, the expected behaviour is what XP did, right?

The windows 10 registry, before the update, had this entry:

N.B. I have not a particular need for this feature; it's just because it looks like a program glitch.

This is not a previous version though, it's the current one. The setup does not need to uninstall it, it just does upgrade in place.

So, instead, the "problem" is that XP always asks.
Not a real problem.

It should not ask if there are no previous versions left.

Uh-oh... I beg your pardon!
I removed the previous versions, but only on windows 10.
I just though to remove them on XP but, for some unknown reasons, I forgot to effectively do it...
In the installed app list there are still relics of 13, 14 and 15.
EDP is perfect!

To complete my "mea culpa" I must also say that the "remove previous versions" works perfectly.
