Crash with "Convert tabs to spaces when saving files"

If I set "Convert tabs to spaces when saving files" on, and save a file (whether it was edited or not and whether it contains tabs or not), EDP crashes. This is the 64 bit version on Windows 7. I reset all pages in the options to make sure.

I don't really care about this option in its rather brutal form years ago, but I was wondering if something had changed about tab key behavior since tabs per document type was a suggestion that I can't find in the wish list.

OK thanks for the quick turnaround. I guess there's no change: "Convert tabs to spaces when saving files" does literally what it says: it converts all tab characters in the file, but only when saving - the editor still shows tabs.
