I seem to have a problem with saved sessions.
In the Compare window I create a few new sessions, each of which specifies a different set of directories, and has slightly
different comparison options (mainly filters, but that seems to be irrelevant for the problem).
Subsequently when I select these saved sessions one after the other, the options correctly change to the saved options belonging to
that session, but the paths in the Directory 1 and Directory 2 fields don't change.
Note that I'm referring to sessions as saved in the registry, not to session files. Loading sessions from saved EDPI files
works fine.
Remarkably this problem doesn't occur on my old Windows XP (32-bit) system with EDP 5.0.1.18 (32-bit)
but only happens on my new Windows 7 (64-bit) system with EDP 5.0.1.18 (32-bit and 64-bit).

Perhaps your "Retain file/directory pair when changing session" is set under Options | Global.

Thanks, that solved the problem.
And obviously it had nothing to do with the Windows version.
I thought that I had examined every possible option, but apparently missed this one.
