ExamDiff as a mercurial file diff tool?

Post by larryq »

Hi everyone,

I'm using Mercurial as my version control solution. I use TortoiseHg as the Windows client and wondered if ExamDiff would work as its file differencer? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks much!

I followed the instructions in your link for ClearCase, and it works great when using the ClearCase Windows Explorer integration to compare files. Unfortunately it breaks the ClearCase Visual Studio integration. I just get a command prompt showing all of ExamDiffPro's command line options. So presumably the CS-VS integration is taking a different set of params the the Windows Explorer integration. Any idea on how I might fix this?

Do you see what error EDPro is reporting in the console window? You may need to scroll up to see it.
