FYI: in the last beta, in win2000 the starting dialog, beside not having icons in the bottom buttons ("compare", "Cancel", "Options", "Swap" and "Exit" (I don't care)), has the "First" and "Second" combo that look empty, but the cursor is not on the left but shifted on the right.
Indeed they are not empty!
Clicking compare starts the comparison.
Clicking on either of "Compare files", "Compare directories" or "Merge files" makes the filenames appear.
