I have the feeling (but I haven't tried with my two 1 TB disks yet) that the file deletion has become faster.
The news negative part is that each time I delete a file, perhaps in the middle or at the bottom of the screen, the screen scrolls down so that the place where the file was is now almost at the top of the screen.
Very annoying.

Yes, list control filling is significantly faster now.I have the feeling (but I haven't tried with my two 1 TB disks yet) that the file deletion has become faster.
To be fair, it is the same behavior in 10.0. Still, we are looking into removing this annoyance in the next build of 11.0.The news negative part is that each time I delete a file, perhaps in the middle or at the bottom of the screen, the screen scrolls down so that the place where the file was is now almost at the top of the screen.

Really? I never noticed it before. To be fair, it is the same behavior in 10.0. Still, we are looking into removing this annoyance in the next build of 11.0.
Re: Scroll down
I just tried with EDP 10 and no, it does not have that problem.
But... I tried again with EDP 11 and I was unable to repeat it!
Next time I'll see it I'll be more attentive to the whole environment.

Re: Scroll down
The point is that with the same options this behavior should be the same between 10.0 and 11.0.

Re: Scroll down
Be assured I didn't change the options between the two tests (and now, too).
I also imported the options when checking the version 10.
Anyway let me put the whole thing in stand by until I'll meet it again.

Re: Scroll down
When I remove a difference by deleting files, instead of simply shifting up the lower part of the pane in which the deletion happened, now EDP scrolls the panes so as the next difference is positioned as the second line from the top.
If the removed difference was the last one, then both panes are scrolled so as to have the very first file at the top.
This luckily doesn't happen when copying files and should not happen when deleting too.
It seems it appears only with many files. Of course you need more files that can fill a pane, but this is not enough.
To trigger the problem you need many more. I don't know how many, but if you want I can try to measure it.
Believe me, this effect is very annoying and not present in version 10.
(By the way: the deletion is now waaaaay faster! Thanks)

Re: Scroll down
It appeared in Build 10.0.1.14, so that may be a source of the confusion.Believe me, this effect is very annoying and not present in version 10.
Yes, filling list controls is much faster now, and it affects not just deletion but actual directory comparison in the first place.(By the way: the deletion is now waaaaay faster! Thanks)

Re: Scroll down
Indeed I checked EDP 10.0.0.9.It appeared in Build 10.0.1.14, so that may be a source of the confusion.
I'm still wondering why, being so annoying, I discovered the problem only now.

Perhaps the previous slowliness somehow masked it.
