I am comparing two large text files but have an issue where I have been unable to ignore end of line breaks, e.g. when I compare the following two items:
Game Resets (Diodes, Filter Caps, Bridge Rectifiers, Power Supply) and Strange Game Behavior
PowerOn
CPU LEDs and Sound Beeps
and
Game Resets (Diodes, Filter Caps, Bridge Rectifiers, Power Supply) and
Strange Game Behavior
Power-On CPU LEDs and Sound Beeps
I find that no matter what "Ignore" Text Comparison Options I select ExamDiff Pro always comes up with the following differences report:
Strange GameBehavior Power-On
In my comparison I really want to ignore the fact that this text is on different lines and that the text may be split - I just want to know if the same text is present in both files in the same order - is this possible? I have a bunch of similar large files to check so being able to do this would be a huge help.
